Mesenteric angiography

The superior mesenteric artery feeds the bowel from the duodenum to the splenic flexure, the inferior mesenteric from there to the rectum, and the marginal artery joins them along the colon. Fill each and turn the C-arm to see the comb of jejunal branches and the origins in profile.

Angiogram

AP 0° 0°

Seen as from the detector: in AP the patient's left is on your right, the head at the top; in the lateral the patient faces your left.

The jejunal and ileal arteries and their arcades are drawn by the trainer, aimed at the model's own loops of bowel: the anatomical model it is built on has none. So is the middle colic's stem.
